Dwight Staying Put!

Dwight Howard

So after all this Dwight crap talk for the past I can’t even remember how long about him wanting to be traded…wait no he didn’t!

..Ah wait yes he did, then said he didn’t, then said he did, then he didn’t, then Stan Van Gundy came out and said Dwight wants him out, then signed his contract to opt-in to his final season basically saying again that he did…

…Then the season ended and again he said he wanted to be traded to ONLY the Brooklyn Nets (Which go figure didn’t happen)!

Then it seemed like it was going to happen at any moment…Dwight Howard to the Los Angeles Lakers alongside Steve Nash and Kobe Bryant! (Don’t be mad I put Steve before you Kobe!)

All the pieces were in place, or so ESPN would lead you to believe so you stay glued to their station ALL DAY LONG!!! It was going to be a three team trade involving the Lakers, Magic, and Cavaliers. Oddly enough Andrew Bynum would have ended up in Clevland while Orlando would have gotten Anderson Varejao and a good amount of draft picks to build on, leaving the Lakers with Howard.

Then this afternoon Dan Fegan of LaGardere Unlimited (Dwight Howard’s Agent) had the following to say:

“Dwight’s position has remained unchanged since the end of this past season. He fully intends to explore free agency at the end of next season, regardless of what team trades for him, including Brooklyn.

This made me laugh because not 3-4 hours before this comes out do we get a report saying that Dwight Howard would be willing to sign an extension with LA if he were traded there and then Dan came out and flipped the lid again…smh.

But what makes me laugh the most is this guy says “Dwight’s position has remained unchanged since the end of this past season.”

Really? Your just coming out and telling us now? After all that crap about him wanting to go to Brooklyn and then maybe getting traded to Houston!

Well I can only predict this for the upcoming season; Dwight Howard Wants Out!…how many times do you think we will see this headline?

As always, thank you for reading!
